This is an ongoing project for Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan. In 2016, the museum rebranded itself as with a new content strategy focused on exposing unexpected past-present connections and helping the visitor to understand that the museum is about more than just automobiles. The museum tasked Bluecadet with extending their content strategy for the web into the whole museum, drawing connections between artifacts, allowing visitors to create and build, enriching objects with contextual audio and video, and evaluating new platforms as means to tell these stories — 3D audio, AR, and AI to strengthen the museum’s ongoing commitment to innovation. Bluecadet and The Henry Ford worked to create a cohesive visitor journey, introducing a dramatic new entrance, exhibit-specific interpretation, and mobile content visitors can access throughout the museum.
